AI Feed for invoices

Polski Pro 1.10.0 adds a REST endpoint that returns a single invoice as Markdown. AI agents (accounting bots, customer service, buyer assistants) receive structured invoice data without parsing the PDF.

Body is Markdown with YAML front matter, a parties block (NIP), a Markdown items table, and totals.

Authentication

Invoices contain personal and tax data, so the endpoint is intentionally closed to anonymous callers. Authenticate with a WordPress session cookie or an application password (REST application password).

FAQ

Does the endpoint work without authentication?

No. Invoices contain personal data and tax IDs. Anonymous clients receive 401.

Can I use a REST application password?

Yes. WordPress 5.6+ supports application passwords. Generate one under Users > Edit > Application Passwords and pass it via Authorization: Basic.

Can I download an invoice’s Markdown from wp-admin?

There is no separate button. The URL is stable - /wp-json/polski-pro/v1/invoices/<id>/markdown - so you can bookmark it or embed it in accounting tools.

What about correction invoices?

Correction invoices are also supported. The front matter includes original_invoice_id, and the “Additional details” block contains correction_reason.
